Here’s some spooktacular news: Legendary Italian prog-rock outfit Goblin have announced their first-ever North American tour for this fall. Featuring original members Claudio Simonetti, Maurizio Guarini, and Massimo Morante, the reunited collective will perform 17 dates stateside beginning this October.
Fans of European horror, specifically the work of Dario Argento, will no doubt revel in the news. The group’s responsible for the score behind the Italian director’s iconic masterpiece, Suspiria, in addition to several of his other noted projects. They also produced music for George A. Romero’s 1978 zombie epic, Dawn of the Dead.
You’ll have plenty of time to decide on your costume, but start planning accordingly below. If it means anything, I’m willing to bet $56.98 that Johnny Jewel will attend one of the gigs.
Also for kicks, here’s a montage of their work for Dawn. So friggin’ good, flyboy.
