The star-studded effort spans 16 tracks and features contributions from Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, Nas, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell, Timbaland, and Swizz Beatz, among others. It was released on Fourth of July exclusively to users of the Samsung Galaxy as part of a massive marketing campaign that guaranteed Jay-Z’s one million albums sold before the album was ever shipped. While those numbers won’t officially count towards the Billboard charts, he did force the RIAA to change its guidelines for album certification.
The album will be released worldwide tomorrow, July 9th, via Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam. Order a copy here.
