Philly psych-rockers Dr. Dog will issue their eighth album, B Room, on October 1st via ANTI-. Last month we heard the soulful swagger of “The Truth”, and now comes a different side of the band courtesy of somber charmer “Broken Heart”. Rather appropriately, its lyric video features nostalgic footage of old amusement parks, with some scenes — such as throttling wooden coasters synched up with the lines, “Freedom from love / Freedom from the heartache” — feeling especially meaningful. In support of B Room, Dr. Dog will embark on a lengthy U.S. tour, including dates with The Lumineers.
