Listen to Frankie Rose’s smoky new song, “Street Of Dreams”

Former Crystal Stilts/Vivian Girls member Frankie Rose will issue her new album, Herein Wild, on September 24th via Fat Possum. Whereas the lead single “Sorrow” borrowed from ’60s dream-pop, our latest taste of the Interstellar followup is a blast straight out of the ’80s. A cover of The Damned’s 1985 track “Street Of Dreams”, it’s a haunting, but blissful new wave jam, featuring Rose at her smokiest and most sensual. And when she howls those “Ooo Ooo” sounds, it’s difficult not to imagine her dressed in vampiric black, billowing clothes simply waiting for midnight to descend.

    Herein Wild Tracklist:
    01. You For Me
    02. Sorrow
    03. Into Blue
    04. The Depths
    05. Cliffs As High
    06. Minor Times
    07. Question Reason
    08. Heaven
    09. Street Of Dreams
    10. Requiem
