Listen to Keep Shelly in Athens’ shimmery new single, “Oostende”

Greek haze-pop duo Keep Shelly in Athens will release their debut album, At Home, on September 17th via Cascine Records. Following the sputtering lead single “Recollection”, comes “Oostende”, a sleeker and dreamier five-minute cut. Beneath a blanket of gushing, shimmering ’80s synths, singer Sarah P. quietly urges a lover to “Get on the train to shorten the distance…the distance”. Though meek and understated, her voice hits like a pang to the heart, giving the track — and all its magical effects — a real human touch.
