London Grammar can knock out the original power ballad, ace the Disclosure collaboration, and, as you’ll see here, nail the ’90s slow-burning love song. During a recent session at BBC’s Maida Vale studio, the UK trio tackled Chris Isaak’s hit “Wicked Game”. Between their haunting, cavernous sound and Hannah Reid’s beautifully anguished vocals — seemingly gut-wrenched and always teetering on the edge of emotional breakdown — the band manages to both cover the original perfectly and reinvent it at the same time.

London Grammar are due to release their UK-only Strong EP on September 1st, followed by their debut full-length, If You Wait, on September 30th via Columbia Records. Below, check out the LP’s tracklist along with the band’s upcoming tour dates.
