Listen to Stars’ soaring new single, Wishful

The word “soaring” is hackneyed at this point, but listen to the chorus of Stars’ newly-revealed single, “Wishful”, and think of a better word. (We’re sure you will, CoS readers.) Amy Millan’s pining pleas shoot across the night like a fiery comet as guitars and synths clash in a cacophonous swell.

“Wishful” comes from the cutting-room floor of the band’s The North sessions. It’ll surface as a 7″ single backed with another non-album cut, “The Light”, on September 10th.
