Like Daft Punk, Vampire Weekend’s role at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards came in the form of guest presenter. Ezra Koenig and Chris Tomson presented the Award for Song of the Summer. Daft Punk was nominated but they didn’t win. Guess who did? One Direction. And not only did Vampire Weekend present One Direction with their award, but they also sang a little bit of their song “Best Song Ever”. We want whatever Ezra and Chris were smoking.
