Cloud Nothings and Wavves may record an album together

Cloud Nothings’ Dylan Baldi and Wavves’ Nathan Williams are behind some of the best garage-rock records of the last half decade. They soon may combine their talents with plans to hit the studio together and possibly collaborate on a full-length album.

“We’ve talked for a while,” Baldi explained to French publication Dum Dum. “I should go to California in March to record some stuff with them.” He added that he’s not sure what to expect, but has a strong desire to put out something and envisions the possibility of “making an album.”

In the meantime, Baldi will release a new album with Cloud Nothings, Here and Nowhere Else, on April 1st. Williams just released a new mixtape from his beat-making side-project Sweet Valley.
