Earlier today, Foster the People streamed the second single off their sophomore album, Supermodel, on Sirius Radio. Titled “Pseudologia Fantastica”, the track is decidedly intense and voluminous (at least compared to its hazy predecessor “Coming of Age”), with the trio wrapping their indie-pop hooks and chipper harmonies in shrouds of fuzz and studio feedback. It’s kinda like if Phil Collins was a member of the late ’90s Deftones, only singing about unfaithful lovers and compulsive liars instead of “Sussudio”. Listen in below.
Supermodel is due out March 18th via Columbia.
