Kanye West appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers Tuesday night and showed all of those who didn’t attend the latest leg of his Yeezus tour what they missed out on. Yeezy ran through a medley of his greatest hits, including “Jesus Walks”, “Touch The Sky”, “Stronger”, “Heartless”, “All Of The Lights”, “Mercy”, and “Black Skinhead”. It was a short but impressive reminder of Kanye’s game-changing catalog and left us yearning for more. Fortunately, Bonnaroo is only four months away.
In an interview prior to the performance, Kanye spoke to Meyers about a variety of topics, including the Yeezus tour and why he chose to wear masks for much of his set. “It’s freeing, Kanye explained. “A place where you can express yourself to your audience without being judged, without having to live up to whatever you represent, whatever your name means or doesn’t mean.”
He also discussed his aspirations in the fashion industry, his appearances on Saturday Night Live, the 10th anniversary of The College Dropout, and confirmed that he recently returned to the studio to work on new music.
