Chief Keef has been arrested and charged with a DUI, according to TMZ. The arrest occured in the early morning hours of March 5th. The 18-year-old rapper (born Keith Cozart) was pulled over for having expired tags. Officers said he “reeked of pot” and “openly admitted to smoking before driving.”
In addition to DUI, Cozart was charged with driving on a suspended license and cited for having no proof of insurance. He was released after posting $300 bail.
Just last month, Cozart finished a 90-day stint in rehab, which was court ordered after he failed two drug tests. He is currently on probation in Illinois stemming from a series of arrests, including a reckless driving charge in May 2013 and a gun charge in 2011.
