In April and May, London electronic trio Factory Floor will release a series of six EPs featuring remixes of “How You Say”, from last year’s self-titled debut. Today, they unveil the first of these efforts with the remix from German DJ/producer Helena Hauff. While she maintains the same sense of kinetic energy, Hauff’s version replaces the glitchy guitars and ambient harmonies with layers of syrupy synth and chirpy chimes, resulting in a distinctly psychedelic vibe akin to riding a roller coaster at a haunted state fair. In addition to Hauff’s contribution, the series features remixes from Daniel Avery, Bookworms, Gunnar Haslam, and a new edit by Factory Floor themselves. The first two EPs will be available digitally, while the remaining three will be released on 12-inch vinyl. Check out the tracklists below, including release dates for each EP.
