Listen: Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks’ trippy new song “Strange Colores”

The second track off the band's debut album, plus U.S. tour dates

Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks have shared another single off their debut full-length Enter The Slasher House, due out April 8th via Domino Records. Entitled “Strange Colores”, the track is full of hazy synth blasts, hypnotic vocals, and a relentlessly pounding rhythm section. Unlike lead single “Little Fang”, which boasted a fun, earworm chorus, “Strange Colores” is much more disorienting, showcasing the band’s psychedelic side.

The band has also shared a video to accompany the song. Directed by Olivia Wyatt, the Muppet-less visual is a color-drenched, kaleidoscopic head trip. It features quick cuts between rainbow-hued skulls, flashing lights, and a grainy performance footage. Watch below.

The group will also embark on a tour beginning in April. Check out their full docket below.
