On last year’s The Double EP: A Sea of Split Peas, Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett used her clever lyricism to affectively channel “the hilariously uncool”. It’s no surprise, then, that The Lemonheads’ overly silly, yet still charming 1993 single “Being Around” fits Barnett’s sound and style of prose perfectly.
