Listen: Lana Del Rey’s new single “West Coast” produced by Dan Auerbach

As previously reported, Lana Del Rey has enlisted the services of The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach to produce her new album, Ultraviolence. Today, we get out first taste of their collaboration in the form of “West Coast”, a sultry, atmospheric track that combines elements of 80s-inspired pop with the bluesy grit of The Black Keys. Watch the song’s corresponding video below.

Ultraviolence serves as the follow-up to Del Rey’s breakout, semi-controversial LP, Born to Die. The album was recorded with Auberbach in his Nashville studio. A release date has yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, Auberach is also gearing up for the release of a new album with The Black Keys, Turn Blue, due out May 13th. Listen to the album’s lead single, “Fever”, here.
