On May 14th, Sylvan Esso — the electro-pop duo comprised of Mountain Man vocalist Amelia Meath and Megafaun bassist Nick Sanborn — will drop their self-titled debut via Partisan Records. Following a string of crowd-pleasing sets at last month’s South by Southwest, they’ve let loose a new album cut called “Play It Right”.
Much like on their bubbly lead single “Coffee”, the two play it right, indeed, serving up a strong double dose of Meath’s alluring and elastic vocals and Sanborn’s climactic, balloon-sized beats. Tune in below.
