Thomas Fec a.k.a. Tobacco is releasing Ultima II Massage, his latest studio album, on May 13th via Ghostly International. Serving as the follow-up to 2010’s Maniac Meat, Fec described the 16-track effort as his “Frankenstein” album. “I wanted to push each song just enough, so that even when the album’s at its wildest, it’s something you can zone out to,” he explained. “It feels like a definitive end to a concept I’ve been trying to perfect forever.”
We’ve already heard the album’s lead single, “Eruption (Gonna Get My Hair Cut at the End of the Summer)”. Today, Fec returns with “Streaker”. A staple of Tobacco’s live show since 2010, “Streaker” has been reworked with greatest emphasis on the surging metallic synths, clanging cymbals, and harsh blasts of robotic voices. It’s an abrasive, full-on rush of grit and grime. Listen in below.
