Broken Social Scene leader Kevin Drew has unveiled the video for “Mexican Aftershow Party”, off his recently-released solo album Darlings. Directed by Scott Cudmore and Michael Leblanc, the clip has the same sort of minimalist aesthetic as “Good Sex”, albeit with substantially less copulation. Yes, this video instead earns a solid PG-13, depicting Drew — who is covered from head-to-toe in glitter– as he performs for very small crowd. Sure, there’s eventually kissing, but it makes you think less about “emotional intimacy” and more about how everyone’s going to get all that glitter off. Watch it below.
