Billy Talbot, bassist of Neil Young & Crazy Horse, suffers stroke

Neil Young & Crazy Horse bassist Billy Talbot recently suffered a minor stroke, according to an issued press release. He’s expected to make a full recovery, but will be forced to sit out the band’s upcoming European tour.

Crazy Horse will instead be joined on tour by Rick Rosas, who has played with Young extensively throughout the years, including in Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. What’s more, the lineup will also include backing vocalists Dorene Carter and YaDonna West, who are best known for their work in Mahogany Blue.
