Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan is in critical condition after his limo was involved in a six-vehicle accident on the New Jersey Turnpike early Saturday morning, according to The New York Times. One person was killed in the accident and six others are in critical condition.
Morgan had performed in Dover, Delaware on Friday night. According to state police, a tractor trailer struck his limo bus, causing it to turn over. “Looks like one of the tractor-trailers may have rear-ended that limo bus, but that’s preliminary at this time,” Sgt. Gregory Williams of the New Jersey State Police told CNN.
Update: According to Deadline, Morgan sustained a broken femur, nose, and several ribs. He is expected to undergo surgery on the leg and will remain in the hospital for several weeks.
This is a developing story.
