Swedish singer Robyn is currently on tour with Röyksopp in support of their collaborative album, Do It Again. However, during Sunday night’s show at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, Robyn took the opportunity to debut two new solo songs.
“Set Me Free” is a swirling and anthemic slice of uplifting ’80s New Wave, with some clear Pat Benatar vibes throughout. Meanwhile, “Love Is Free” is more reminiscent of early ’90s House and trance music, with Robyn sing-talking over skittish drums and layers of chunky synth.
