Watch: How To Dress Well’s video for “Childhood Faith In Love”

In support of his excellent new album, “What Is This Heart?”, neo-R&B crooner Tom Krell, aka How To Dress Well, teamed with director Luke Gilford to craft a trilogy of videos inspired by the short stories of Alice Munro.

Part one came with the video for “Repeat Pleasure”, which followed a hospice nurse as she fell in love with her patient’s grandson. In the sequel, “Face Again”, the young couple struggles in the wake of a sudden loss. Today, the series comes to a close with the video for “Childhood Faith In Love”.

Though still reeling from the death of the boy’s grandfather, the young couple find themselves finally “free,” able to wrap themselves up entirely in one another over one carefree day. The entire message, one of pure, childlike romanticism in the face of life’s most harsh realities, makes for an especially enthralling form of escapism.
