A new season of IFC’s Comedy Bang! Bang! premieres this Friday and promises a host of big-name musical acts, including Future Islands, The Flaming Lips, and “Weird Al” Yankovic. To get things started, IFC has shared a hilarious video in which Scott Aukerman hosts a faux TV show called Retool the School. The National are hired to be the school’s music teachers, but when issues arise over the band’s $300,000 salary, Matt Berninger quips, “Who do you think you’re dealing with here? Those pussies in Arcade Fire? The National get their check.” Watch below.
