Disney has released the new trailer for Tomorrowland, the latest film from director/writer Brad Bird (The Incredibles, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol). Borrowing its name from the famous Disney theme area found in nearly all its parks, the film stars George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, and Britt Robertson alongside Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, and Thomas Robinson.
Due May 22nd, the official plot synopsis reads, “Bound by a shared destiny, a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity (Robertson) and a former boy-genius inventor jaded by disillusionment (Clooney) embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory as ‘Tomorrowland.'”
Bird wrote the script alongside producer and Lost co-creator/writer Damon Lindelof. Watch the trailer for the sci-fi mystery here:
