On the back of just three singles, Forth Worth’s Leon Bridges has been selling out shows across the country. His last gig at New York City’s Mercury Ballroom reportedly sold out in just one minute flat. At South by Southwest this year, he nabbed the Grulke Prize for Excellence Now, the rising soul singer will bring on the flood with his debut full-length album, Coming Home, due out June 23rd via Columbia Records.
The three previously released tracks — “Better Man”, “Lisa Sawyer”, and the title track — will all feature on the record. Produced by White Denim’s Austin Jenkins and Josh Block, the album is sure to be filled out with more of Bridge’s timeless R&B and soul tunes.
