On June 16th, rising pop singer Ryn Weaver will release her debut album, The Fool, via Mad Love/Interscope Records. The 11-track effort features production by Passion Pit frontman Michael Angelakos and Benny Blanco (Jessie Ware, Katy Perry). Already we’ve heard previews in the smash single “OctaHate” (co-written by Charli XCX) and “Promises”; now Weaver’s revealed the LP’s title track.

Taking a page from the Passion Pit playbook, it’s a glimmering synthpop cut that’s equal parts sad and sweeping, an infectious jam that still knows what it means to be vulnerable, too. “Just to clear any confusion…#thefool is only part love song,” Weaver wrote in a recent tweet. “It’s more about how I will ruin everything than being in love.” Listen in below.
