Joni Mitchell suffered brain aneurysm, remains in “serious condition” at LA hospital

Joni Mitchell has been hospitalized at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles since falling ill on March 31st. Nearly two months later, the singer-songwriter remains in “serious condition,” according to Billboard, which adds that Mitchell has suffered a brain aneurysm. Mitchell will reportedly be moved to a rehab facility in the near future.

Last month, Mitchell’s longtime friend Leslie Morris obtained conservatorship “to make care decisions for [Mitchell] once she leaves the hospital.”
