The 15-year-old son of Nick Cave, Arthur (above right), has died after reportedly falling from a cliff at Ovingdean just outside of Brighton, UK on Monday evening.
According to The Argus, bystanders at the scene of the accident attempted to provide first aid to Cave. He was later taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, where he died from his injuries. Coroners are currently not investigating the death as suspicious.
Nick Cave and his wife, Susie Bick, issued the following statement via the Sussex Police: “Our son Arthur died on Tuesday evening. He was our beautiful, happy loving boy.” They reportedly visited the spot where Arthur fell to see the flowers and tributes that had been left there for their son, though asked journalists to respect their privacy at this time.
Arthur is also mourned by his twin brother, Earl, pictured above right.
