Angel Haze returned last month with “Impossible”, a punch to the gut kind of single that not only signaled she was back, but with a brand new attitude and hunger for the game. The Detroit-born MC continues to snarl and bare her teeth on the merciless and brazen “Babe Ruthless”.
“Babe Ruthless is my Machiavelli,” Haze told The FADER of the song. “It’s me becoming Super Saiyan. It’s me becoming something you can’t label or contain and being better at it than all the versions of myself who’ve stepped up to bat before me.” Listen in below.
Both aforementioned tracks will appear on Haze’s forthcoming mixtape, Back to the Woods, expected to hit shelves on September 18th. The new collection of songs follows her 2013 album, Dirty Gold, and her stunning “30 Gold” cover series.
