This week, James Mercer of The Shins and Danger Mouse have reconvened as Broken Bells, returning with their first piece of new material since 2014’s After the Disco. Entitled “It’s That Talk Again”, the four-minute track plays out like a Tame Impala/Currents cut, infused with soft synths and finished off with a groovy sheen.

Though Mercer’s kept a low profile the last few months, Danger Mouse has been busy working on Adele’s new album, which is expected to drop this November.
