The free collection — sure to tide over fans waiting for his long-in-the-works Textbook Timbo LP — boasts 18 tracks, including “genre-bending” collaborations with Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, and Migos. Of particular note is “Shakin”, a previously unheard collaboration with the late R&B singer Aaliyah, who had worked extensively with Timbaland up until her tragic passing in 2001.
“It’s been a while since I’ve been able to give the world some new music,” the rapper/producer extraordinaire commented in a press release. “I’ve spent a lot of time working on this project and I am just looking forward to giving my fans some dope sounds to close out the year.”
