Arcade Fire confirm 2016 concerts, including festival gig with Radiohead

Plus, a benefit show in Montreal with David Byrne

Arcade Fire

Arcade Fire are currently holed up in New Orleans working on a new studio album. In July, however, they’ll return to the stage for a pair of European festival gigs at Spain’s Bilbao BBK Live and Portugal’s NOS Alive Festival.

The NOS Alive gig is particularly noteworthy as Arcade Fire will serve as headliners alongside Radiohead. No other festival can tout such a bill at the moment.

At both festivals, Arcade Fire will perform “a unique and unrepeatable concert that will review their greatest hits, including those from their latest album, Reflektor.” A press release adds that these will be the band’s only two European festival appearances of 2016.

Arcade Fire have also confirmed a February 19th benefit gig at Montreal’s Society for Arts and Technology, where they’ll perform alongside David Byrne and Saul Williams. Proceeds will benefit KANPE, the charity for Haiti co-founded by Régine Chassagne.
