Ghost Ramp Monthly is a new monthly subscription series offering exclusive material from the label’s artists and friends. The project’s inaugural January installment boasts a 7-inch split from Wavves and Best Coast. Earlier today, we heard Wavves’ contribution, the rowdy “Dreams of Grandeur”. Now, Best Coast’s submission, a cover of Nirvana’s “Dumb”, has been unveiled.

Here, Best Coast set aside their sunny, surf rock inclinations for a mostly faithful rendition that taps in the raw, dark beauty of the In Utero original. Stream a vinyl rip version below.

The subscription series, presented by Wavves’ own Ghost Ramp imprint, will also feature music from Cloud Nothings and the Wavves-associated project, Sweet Valley. For more info, head here.

Additionally, in support of this month’s 7-inch, both Wavves and Best Coast will hit the road for a joint US tour. All the dates for that trek can be found here.
