Father John Misty shares new song “Maybe, Sweet One, You Won’t Have Nightmares Tonight” — listen

Earlier this month, Father John Misty delivered an instantly classic performance of “Holy Shit” on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Turns out J. Tillman was also in line to appear in a sketch for the show, which he wrote a song for. Unfortunately, “the bit was cut for time/content,” Tillman explains. So instead, he’s uploaded the song, a nightmarish lullaby which he’s dubbed “Maybe, Sweet One, You Won’t Have Nightmares Tonight”, to SoundCloud. Listen below.
