Freddie Gibbs turns Kanye and Kendrick’s new track into “Cocaine Parties in L.A.” — listen

Madlib re-produces the collaborative cut for Freddie's own version

    Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar may be done with partying in Los Angeles, but Freddie Gibbs is still going hard in the City of Angels. The rapper has turned in his own version of West and Lamar’s “No Parties in L.A.”, flipping it to his own style as “Cocaine Parties in L.A.”

    Gibbs’ frequent collaborator Madlib dirties up the beat a bit, giving it an even deeper throwback feel. For his part, Gibbs delivers fiery braggadocio that burns so hot it threatens to scorch even West’s bars. “Black nigga, backstage full of white bitches,” he spits at one point. “No, I don’t sound like Macklemore but I got white privilege.” Check out the whole track below.
