The 20-date tour includes shows in North America, the UK, and Europe. As previously reported, Pop and Homme will be joined on the road by guitarist/keyboardist Dean Fertita (QOTSA, The Dead Weather) and Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders, both of who contributed to the album’s recording. The touring lineup also includes QOTSA’s Troy Van Leeuwen (guitar) and Chavez’s Matt Sweeney (bass).
In a recent interview, Pop said the tour’s setlist will include material from his 1977 solo album, Lust for Life, including the track “Success”, which he has never before performed live. Homme previously described Post Pop Depression as something of a sequel to Lust for Life.
