PUPs self-titled debut was our 37th favorite album of 2014, glowingly described as “turbulent, unpredictable, and always on the verge of flying off the tracks.” Now, the Canadian punks are readying its follow-up, today releasing a new song dubbed “DVP”.

Here, PUP list off their messy failings over a rip-roaring melody. “Three beers and I’m so messed up/ Get drunk and I can’t shut up!” the band’s members sing-shout in unison with the kind of fire that’s sure to rattle the lungs. “She says I need to grow up!” We’ve all been there before — try as we might, we just can’t seem to get things in order.
