Rihanna covers Tame Impala’s “New Person, Same Old Mistakes” — listen

If you ever thought you’d see the day when pop superstar Rihanna covered Australian psych-rock outfit Tame Impala, congratulations: You’re a liar. But the world is a strange and wonderful place, and wouldn’t you know it, Rihanna’s new album Anti includes a cover of Tame Impala’s “New Person, Same Old Mistakes”. Her rendition is titled “Same Ol’ Mistakes” and arrives as track 9 on Anti, Rihanna’s eighth album overall and the follow-up to 2012’s Unapologetic.
