The Sherlocks ask if you can remember “Last Night” on memorable new single — listen

The UK's next big rock band deliver a catchy new single

Only five years ago, The Sherlocks were just a bunch of kids bonding over football and The Libertines. Cut to 2016, The Libertines have reunited and The Sherlocks are opening for them during sold out arena gigs across the UK. It’s been that kind of ride for the four lads from Sheffield. What started out as jam sessions between two sets of neighborly brothers has blossomed into one of the most promising young British rock bands around.

The quartet is looking to make this one of their biggest years yet, as they’ve been selling out their own headlining shows in their home country and today deliver their latest single, “Last Night”. There’s a bit of Alex Turner’s shamble in the guitar lines and singer’s Kiaran Crook voice, but the melodies and hooks draw you right back to the 1970’s with acts like The Jam. Remember when your bud tried to get you into Arctic Monkeys back in 2005 right before they broke big with Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not and you ignored them? Don’t let that happen again; take a listen below.
