There’s a new vigilante in town in the season two trailer for Netflix’s Daredevil, and this one’s here to dish out punishment. With the second series of the hit Marvel Televisions production debuting on March 18th, the studios have shared the first look at what’s coming.
The preview gives audiences our first real taste of Jon Bernthal as the Punisher. Though we don’t see the iconic skull logo, we do see plenty of guns and dead bad guys. We’re also given a succinct rundown of his relationship to Daredevil (Charlie Cox). “Why are you doing this?” asks a desperate DD. “Because I think you’re a half-measure,” responds a stoic Punisher. “I think you’re a man who can’t finish the job. I think you’re a coward. You know you’re one bad day away from being me.” Got ‘im.
An intense new hallway fight is also glimpsed, as well as a teasing introduction of Elodie Yung as Elektra. Check out the trailer below.
Cox returns as Matt Murdock/the title character for season two, joined once again by Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Scott Glenn as Stick and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple.
