One show into their reunion, and Guns N’ Roses have already suffered a setback. Frontman Axl Rose has broken a bone in his foot, which required a surgical procedure to insert a plate and screws. According to a video interview with his orthopedic surgeon, Rose is currently in a cast and cannot put any weight on his foot.
Tonight’s show in Las Vegas will go on as planned, according to a statement issued by the band’s publicist. Rose will apparently pull a Dave Grohl with a special stage setup that allows him to still perform. Maybe he can borrow Dave’s throne.
Update – Friday, April 8th at 6:55 p.m. CT: Guns N’ Roses have shared official video from their concert in Los Angeles last week.
