Warner Bros. has shared a new trailer for its Harry Potter prequel, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Set in the year 1926, the film tells the tale of magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), who travels to New York City to study all the magical creatures of the wizarding world.
Decades later, Scamander’s book would prove to be required reading for students attending Hogwarts, Harry Potter included.
Harry Potter creator JK Rowling penned the film herself, the first time she’s done so. David Yates served as director. Along with Redmayne, the Fantastic Beasts cast includes Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Colin Farrell, Jenn Murray, Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo, Gemma Chan, and newcomer Faith Wood-Blagrove.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them hits theaters on November 18th, 2016.
