Europe has been at the major music festival game a bit longer than the US, meaning they’ve had more time to perfect the art of the lineup. Now in its 27th year, Belgium’s Dour Festival is a prime example of how to amass a diverse, epic bill.
How epic? Here’s just a random smattering of some of the names you’ll see in the small French speaking village of Dour come July 13th-17th: Underworld, Sigur Rós, Pixies, The Prodigy, ASAP Ferg, the full original Bad Company lineup, Wiz Khalifa, Boys Noize, Mobb Deep, Mac DeMarco, Peaches, Four Tet, Poliça, Band of Skulls, Django Django, Nosaj Thing, Rhye, The Vaccines, Floting Points (live), SOPHIE, Odesza, Skepta, Gallant, Yung Lean, Denzel Curry, and Rudimental.
Eclectic much? If you want to see what a long-running, out-of-the-way, stacked European music festival can be like, we can help with that. We’re giving away one (1) pair of VIP passes to Dour Festival 2016. Now, we can’t help you fly there or anything, but if you’re local or up for an adventure, you’d be silly not to enter this.
