CoSigned garage rockers Hinds left the city of Austin abuzz, Treefort Music Fest impressed, and Bonnaroo goers enamored with their playful, punchy, and energetic lo-fi stylings. On Tuesday, one of Spain’s most promising young acts also made fans out of Stephen Colbert and his Late Show audience. For their late-night debut, Hinds performed Leave Me Alone single “Garden” and proved that whether in a ramshackle basement, on The Farm, or aired national TV, there’s just something so magnetic about what they do.
Carlotta Cosials added a bit more of her babydoll sensuality to her vocals for the rendition, while Ana García Perrote sounded sturdier than ever.
