Boston-based rapper Michael Christmas and prolific producer Guillermo Scott Heren, aka Prefuse 73, have formed a new project called Fudge. The duo announced the collaboration with a single entitled “In My Shoes”, which features Alex Mali on vocals and will appear on their debut full-length Lady Parts, due out September 9th via Lex Records.
Pairing Prefuse 73’s euphoric electronics with Christmas’ smooth-as-silk flow seems like a good idea in and of itself, but we’re extra excited about what Christmas is bringing to the table after his impressive set at Boston Calling last month. The new album will also feature D.R.A.M. on one track, and it’s bound to offer more surprises than its risque cover art.
