Earlier this year, Portishead contributed a cover of ABBA’s “SOS” to Tom Hiddleston’s High-Rise film. This week, the song — the band’s first in six years — has been given the video treatment.
Much like the foreboding rendition, the minimal clip paints singer Beth Gibbons in eerie black and white hues. The visual closes with a quote from the late British MP Jo Cox, who is believed to have been killed for her political views: “We have far more in common than which divides us.”
