Tears for Fears to release new album next year, announce North American tour

The UK outfit preps first LP since 2004's Everybody Loves a Happy Ending

Earlier this year, Tears for Fears were forced to postpone a string of summer dates due to family illness. The UK natives are now making it up to fans with two big announcements: Not only have they rescheduled a tour for the fall, but they’ve also begun working on a brand new album, due to drop next year via Warner Bros. Records.

Their North American trek runs from mid-September to early October and includes stops in Salt Lake City, Indianapolis, Colorado Springs, Phoenix, and San Diego. The forthcoming full-length, meanwhile, would serve as Tears for Fears’ seventh overall and first since 2004’s Everybody Loves a Happy Ending.
