Blood Bitch is the forthcoming album from Jenny Hval, expected to hit shelves on September 30th via Sacred Bones. According to the Norwegian singer and composer, the 10-track effort is an investigation of blood. Blood that is shed naturally.”

“The purest and most powerful, yet most trivial, and most terrifying blood: Menstruation,” she added. “The white and red toilet roll chain which ties together the virgins, the whores, the mothers, the witches, the dreamers, and the lovers.”

Following lead single “Female Vampire”, Hval has returned with “Conceptual Romance”, an LP cut that sees her conjuring a calming yet surreal landscape where synths bubble like streams and her airy deliveries feel like that of an otherworldly temptress. “I’m high, high on madness,” Hval declares.
