Katy Perry performs “Roar” and “Rise” at Democratic National Convention — watch

Katy Perry is a staunch supporter of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. At tonight’s Democratic National Convention, Perry took the stage for a short performance in anticipation of Clinton’s acceptance speech. She sang “Roar”, the song which Clinton made her campaign’s theme song. Perry also gave the live debut of her new single “Rise”, which was written for this summer’s Olympic games in Rio.
